[News] Shun Hybrid Shuts Down Portharcourt City At The Plabobo Concert 2019

On the 8th of November, 2019, fast rising Nigerian rapper and singer, Shun Hybrid released his first international collaboration with top UK based producer and EDM artist, Boypanda titled “Above Them” which has accumulated over 15,000 streams on all digital platforms and still climbing. The 21 year old act couldn’t be less happy as he was invited by Silverbirds Disk Jockey, Dj Playbobo to open for the 2nd edition of the Playbobo concert which was held at 6 Field Town, Borokiri, Portharcourt alongside big names like Dj Kaywise, Erigga, Dandizzy, Mr. 2Kay and more. According to Shun Hybrid, It was the first time he was performing on the same stage with celebrities on a well set standard stage.

Shun Hybrid started doing music in 2013, but he recorded his fist music in 2016 at the age of 18, a song titled “Trinity” a song he produced by himself, it hit over 5000 streams on a website Naijafy on the first week of it’s release. He has gone to release a mixtape titled “Young Ones Taking Over” in 2018 and Freestyles.

Shun Hybrid is still unsigned and independent but he makes more moves than most upcoming acts his age. He has hinted that he will be dropping his debut EP which also bears the same name with his debut mixtape very soon.
