The Nigeria Football Federation has announced the distribution of funds meant for its stakeholders. The funds, which totaled to a sum of two million dollars, were received from football’s governing body FIFA, CAF and other private sponsors.
In the distribution breakdown released on Tuesday, the Super Falcons
will get $100,000 while the U17 and U20 women’s team will receive $70,000.
All 16 Nigeria’s Women Football League Premiership clubs will
receive $10,000 each and the 14 Nigeria’s Women Football League Championship
clubs will receive $4,000 each.
Other beneficiaries includes: women’s coaching, women’s
refereeing, women’s administration and operations, NPFL (men) clubs, coaches
association, sports writers association amongst others.
