It will all change in attack for Lille for the 2020/21 season with Jonathan David coming into the ranks. The French club have boosted their attacking options further after losing Victor Osimhen to Napoli. While Lille moved quickly to sign veteran Turkey forward, Burka Yilmaz, a large chunk of the Osimhen fee was used to recruit the services of avid.
The 20-year old has penned down a five year contract and will wear
the number nine jersey which previously belonged to Loic Remy.
The new marquee scored an impressive 37 goals in 83 apps for Gents
in all competitions. The Canadian also has an outstanding strike number at
international stage netting 11 times in 12 caps for Canada.
David stated he is really happy to join the Dogue. I want to play
and progress and I think that this is the perfect place, he said.
