After what came as a disastrous season for Juventus despite winning the Scudetto, the Italian giants have decided to part ways with the head coach after their UCL exit to a French based Lyon.
He signed a three year contract last summer after being one season at Chelsea.
Sarri has been in the forefront of criticism ever since he became the head coach but this European failure was the last straw for the club’s hierarchy.
A club statement read: “The club would like to thank the coach for having written a new page in Juventus’ history with the victory of the ninth-consecutive championship, the culmination of a personal journey that led him to climb all the divisions of Italian football.
Juventus is expected to announce a new head coach in the coming days.
