Ibrahimovic takes a swipe on Sweden head coach

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has criticized Sweden head coach, Janne Andersson for leaving Dejan Kulusevski on the bench after the Swedes lost their Nations League game against world champions, France.

 

“What a damn joke. Further proof. Incompetent people in the wrong positions smothering Swedish football,” Zlatan said on his Twitter account. Kulusevski also stated that he was surprised that he didn’t start and that was enough to make Ibrahimovic react. He made a 20-minute cameo after he replaced Sebastian Larsson.

 

“No, no, I don’t think so. I was shocked. It felt really, really good in training. But unfortunately, that’s how football is,” 20-year old Kulusevski said.

 

Sweden’s next match is against Portugal on Tuesday and Andersson has stated that Kulusevski would likely see more game time in that Nations League game.
