Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has revealed that there is no
issues between himself and Lionel Messi following the controversial transfer
saga that surrounded the Argentine in the past few weeks. The Argentine told the
club that he wanted to leave but later reversed his decision by announcing he would
stay put at the club this season.
Koeman, who joined on a two-year deal has come out to say he has
no issues with the superstar.
“That has passed me reasonably well. There was mainly a conflict
between Messi and the club. I have spoken to Messi since then and we will
continue as usual,” he told Fox Sports.
The former Dutch manager has an uphill task to pull the Catalans
out of their misery after failing to land a trophy last term for the first time
since 2008.
