The Nigerian Immigration Services Apprehends Bobrisky, Transfers Him To NIS Office, Lagos

An immigration source reports that Bobrisky has been apprehended and has since been transferred to the NIS office in Lagos.

An immigration official at the Nigerian-Benin Republic border has reported the arrest of crossdresser Bobrisky during passport inspections on October 21.

According to Premiumtimes, the official stated that Bobrisky was apprehended at midnight and held in custody until the following morning. He has since been transferred to the Lagos zone of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) in Ikeja. The official explained, "He was arrested at midnight and detained until this morning, and he’s currently being moved to the Lagos zone of the NIS in Ikeja. He had entrusted his passport to another individual for stamping, which led the officer to notice his name among others and request that he exit the vehicle."

Bobrisky is currently under investigation by a Committee of the House of Representatives, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, and the Nigerian Correctional Service due to allegations related to bribery.
