Autopsy Shows Traces Of Cocaine, Crack And More In Late Singer, Liam Payne’s Body

Singer Liam Payne had traces of cocaine, crack, and various other substances in his system at the time of his death, according to the autopsy report.

Liam Payne's toxicology report revealed that the former One Direction member had a combination of drugs present in his system at the time of his unfortunate demise.

A preliminary autopsy indicated that Payne had various substances, including cocaine, crack, and benzodiazepine—a class of depressants—when he fell from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on October 16, as reported by sources to ABC News on Monday.

The analysis also detected "pink cocaine," a recreational substance that generally comprises methamphetamine, ketamine, MDMA, and other components, according to the outlet.

Furthermore, an improvised aluminum pipe, which was utilized for drug consumption, was discovered in Payne's hotel room, the sources disclosed.

Payne sadly passed away last week after falling from the third-floor balcony of his accommodation at CasaSur Palermo Hotel. He was 31 years old.

Local officials had informed TMZ that they suspected Payne was under the influence of "cristal," a drug known to induce intense highs and lows, frequently resulting in aggressive behavior.

An initial autopsy report indicated that the former boy band member sustained multiple injuries from the fall, which resulted in both internal and external bleeding.

Emergency physician Alberto Crescenti reported that Payne sustained a cranial fracture along with "extremely serious injuries that resulted in his immediate death."

First responders were unable to revive him.

Subsequent to his passing, Page Six verified that alcohol and controlled substances were discovered in his disheveled hotel room.

Numerous eyewitnesses indicated that Payne displayed "disturbing" behavior in the hotel lobby just moments prior to his tragic demise.

Payne, who acknowledged his battles with addiction and mental health challenges while a member of One Direction, had recently been in Argentina with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, shortly before he checked into the hotel alone.

Cassidy, aged 25, expressed her grief over her boyfriend's passing through a heartfelt message on her Instagram last Friday.

"Liam, my angel. You mean the world to me. I want you to understand that my love for you was unconditional and absolute. I will carry that love with me for the remainder of my life. I love you, Liam," she shared.

Payne's previous bandmates, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik, collectively honored him in an uncommon joint statement.

“The moments we experienced together will be cherished eternally,” the members of “What Makes You Beautiful” expressed. “At this time, our thoughts are with his family, friends, and the fans who adored him as we did. His absence will be profoundly felt. We love you, Liam.”
