N500,000 Reward Placed On Ibadan Serial Killer Suspect, Shodipe by Police

 Shodipe, who is a prime suspect in connection with the serial ritual killings of over five persons in Akinyele, Moniya in Ibadan, was paraded before newsmen on July 17. The police over the weekend, announced he had escaped from police custody and was declared wanted.

The oyo state police command has announced in a statement released yesterday, August 20,that N500,000 reward was up for grab for any member of the public that is able to provide useful information that can lead to the re-arrest of the serial killer Suspect in Ibadan,Sunday Shopide .

The statement reads," The commissioner of police, Oyo state command, CP Joe Nwachukwu Enowonwu, PSC wishes to state that handsome reward of N500,000 awaits whoever gives useful information for the arrest of the suspected serial killer at Akinyele local government area of Oyo state, One Sunday Shopide'M' 19 years who was arrested and paraded at the Oyo state police command headquarters on 17th July ,2020,but later escaped from lawful custody on 11th August,2020.
