[Breaking News] President Buhari Has Been Dragged To Court

President Muhammadu Buhari and the secretary to the government of the federation has been dragged to court by a Kano based travel agency operator, claiming that the tenure of the chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Abdullahi Mukhtar Mohammed was overdue.

 Malam Masu'd Muazu who is the initiate, is begging the Federal High Court in Abuja to declare Abdullahi Mukhtar Mohammed's tenure prolongation as unlawful and unconstitutional.

According to the initiate, the fact that Buhari’s extended the tenure of Mohammed’s appointment violated section 171 of the Nigeria’s 1999 Constitution and section 5 of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (Establishment) Act, 2006.

He also included the Attorney General of the Federation and the commission in the suit.

His counsel, Ibrahim Alhassan asked the court on behalf of the initiate to holdthat the president action violated section 171 of the Nigeria’s 1999 Constitution and section 5 of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (Establishment) Act, 2006.
