A Nigerian trader in a video going viral on social media was seen complaining bitterly as Ghanian authorities locked up his shop and those of other Nigerians for failing to pay the Ghana investment promotion council, GIPC, a fee which is $1 million minimum foreign equity while the registration is 31,500 cedis.
Nigerians took to social media to condemn the actions of the Ghanian authorities, accusing them of Making life unbearable for Nigerians residing in their country.
Recall that the Ghanian authorities had said that Nigerian shop owners in the country must pay taxes and other fees imposed on them.
In a tweet posted this morning, Onyeama said the government has watched the painful videos and urgent steps will be taken .
