Bayer Leverkusen head coach, Peter
Bosz, has conceded that Chelsea target, Kai Havertz is unlikely to train with
the team again as he closes in on a 90m pounds move to Chelsea.
The English side has been in talks
with Leverkusen for several weeks for a deal regarding their player. Asked if
he expects the 21-year old to come back to the Leverkusen squad, Peter Bosz
said, “Unfortunately, our squad isn’t set yet. I don’t expect Kevin Volland and
Havertz to train with us again.
Volland is set to join Monaco while
Havertz will become Chelsea’s seventh summer signing after adding Hakim Ziyech,
Timo Werner, Thiago Silva, Ben Chilwell, Malang Sarr and Xavier Mbuyamba to the
ranks.
Havertz has scored 36 goals and
bagged 25 assists in 118 appearances in Bundesliga.
