Real Sociedad winger, Mikel
Oyarzabal, has tested positive for coronavirus and will not join up with his
other international teammates for next month’s Nation League matches.
The 23-year old vice captain confirmed
on his Instagram official page on Sunday and he is expected to self isolate at
home observing the protocols regarding the situation.
“I want to communicate that I’ve
had a positive result from my last test. I have to be at home for a few days
and I won’t be able to go to the national team,” his post of his Instagram page
read. It is not certain whom the Spanish head coach, Luis Enrique would call up
as a replacement for the youngster.
Oyarzabal featured in 37 league
