The multi-Grand Slam winner and world number one has confirmed that he will be available for the US Open and will also play the Western and Southern Open beforehand.
The Western and Southern Open (usually held in Cincinnati) will
take place behind closed doors between August 22 and 28, with the US Open also
starting at the same venue on August 31.
“I am happy to confirm that I will participate at the Western and
Southern Open and US Open this year. It was not an easy decision to make with
all the obstacles and challenges on many sides, but the prospect of competing
again makes me really excited”, reads a post on Djokovic’s official website.
