The long awaited comeback fight of Mike Tyson has now been postponed until November. “Iron Mike”, as he is fondly called, was set to make his return to the ring on September 12, despite being at an advanced age of 54, but it now appears the fans lurking to have a peek will have to wait until November to see the icon don the boxing gloves and lace up a pair of boots.
It is being reported that the fight will now take place on
November 28.
According to news outlet, Ring Magazine, Tyson’s team asked for
the fight to be postponed with reasons unknown. This now gives the two boxers
an extra month and a half to prepare for the bout.
The fight is scheduled to be an eight round exhibition bout with
head guards worn to prevent a possible chance of a knockout.
