Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr, has said that he is working
to bring two new players to play for the men’s national team.
While not revealing the names of the new players to be invited ,
he expressed his happiness over the new development and is expecting that the
players will be called for the upcoming international friendly expected to come
later this year.
The coach also said that the federation is looking for a possible
camping for players to bring them together but also admitted it might be
difficult amid the coronavirus concerns.
“Two new players want to camp with us now. And this is a very
important news for us. I traveled to meet them in March. I met one of them but
didn’t meet the other until three weeks ago. We are trying to do good work for
the future including monitoring a lot of games in the present. I’m speaking a
lot with the players so I can draw a provisional list for the September
camping,” Mr. Rohr said.
