Rohr: We are waiting for FIFA decision

The Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr, has said that his team is waiting for the approval of the football governing body, FIFA, as regards to two friendly games they proposed for next month in Austria.

 

While speaking to the press, he also emphasized that it is the duty of the NFF to secure the release of the players for the matches and not him.

 

“We are waiting for the official decision of FIFA if this window in the first week of September is an obligation for the clubs to release the players we will invite. So this is not my job, it’s an administrative thing. So we are waiting for that,” Rohr said.
