Belgian international, Yannick
Carrasco has signed a permanent deal with the Spanish club, Atletico Madrid who
he spent part of the 19/20 campaign with on loan from Dalian FC.
The deal which would keep him at
the Wanda Metropolitano would see Carrasco begin his second stint for Los
Rojiblancos. He previously played for them between 2015 and 2018 before moving
to China and returning on January 2020.
“Our club has reached an agreement
with Dalian Professional FC over the transfer of Yannick Carrasco. The Belgian
has signed a four-year contract and will continue at Atletico Madrid, where he
played on loan during the second half of last season. The 27-year old was key
to our third place finish in La Liga, netting one goal and providing four
assists in 16 games and helping us to secure Champions League football for the
eighth straight season,” a club statement read.
