38-year old Zlatan Ibrahimovic has
signed a one year deal worth 6.2m pounds with AC Milan. He joined the Serie A
club on a six-month deal in January.
Ibrahimovic arrived at Casa Milan
on Monday to put pen to paper and was reportedly training with the team by
afternoon. Speaking to the media on Saturday night, Ibrahimovic stated that
everything was in place and he is set to help the team get good results and
return Milan to where it should be.
The former Sweden international
scored 10 goals in 18 Serie A appearances after his return from MLS La Galaxy
to Milan in January. His previous spell with Milan came between 2010 and 2012
during which he helped the club to a league title in 2011.
He will wear the no. 11 shirt this
season for Pioli’s side.
