Leicester in talks to sign Timothy Castagne

Leicester City are in talks with Italian side, Atalanta, over the potential signing of full back Timothy Castagne. Castagne has one year remaining on his Atalanta contract.

 

The English side is keen to find a replacement after selling Ben Chilwell to Chelsea in a 50m pounds deal last week. Their two potential targets are Nicloas Tagliafico and Timothy Castagne but Castagne is on top their shortlist.

 

The 24-year old Belgian is also keen to move to the Premier League and is likely to be cheaper than Tagliafico because he has only one year left on his Atalanta contract. He primarily plays as a right wingback for Atalanta but can incorporate to play on the left and also in a backline of four.
