Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson signs for Newcastle United

Callum Wilson has signed a four-year deal with Newcastle United for a 20m pounds fee. He would become the third most expensive player for Newcastle behind Joelinton (40m pounds) and Miguel Almiron (21m pounds).

“It feels amazing. Such a massive club. It wasn’t an easy decision as Aston Villa is back home for me but this club is huge and I want to get off to a flying start. The strikers here have been iconic over the years and I want to emulate what they’ve achieved. My son watched the film Goal, so he wanted me to come here. I met most of the boys today and I can’t wait to get training with them,” the 28-year old told the media.

He has left Bournemouth after six years of being with the club. He socred 67 goals in 187 appearances for Bournemouth.
