The International football is set
to resume after months of suspension with many fixtures already set on the FIFA
calendar date. Of those fixtures is the one for the Super Eagles who secured
two friendly matches.
The Super Eagles will face the
Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire on the 9th of October and also face the Carthage
Eagles of Tunisia on the 13th of October. The Federations of Ivorian and Tunisia
football have confirmed the friendly fixtures.
The last time Nigeria met Cote d’Ivoire
was in January 2015, a match the Super Eagles lost.
The last outing against Tunisia was
in the third place play off in the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt where
Nigeria pipped the Tunis to a 1-0 victory thanks to an Odion Ighalo goal.
